Center for Dialogue in Neuropsychoanalysis - ETS
The Center for Dialogue in Neuropsychoanalysis – ETS is a non-profit organization that works to research and promote neuropsychoanalytic psychotherapy.
Inspired by the work of the Neuropsychoanalysis Association, the interregional group aims to be an open space for information and discussion, both for its members and for all healthcare professionals who apply neuropsychoanalytic tools in diverse social, cultural, and scientific contexts.
This group accepts psychoanalysts, psychotherapists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, and people training in their respective clinical fields, from public hospitals and from university or private settings.
THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK AND INTERDISCIPLINARITY

Theoretical Framework and Interdisciplinarity
The group aims to integrate information and findings from different approaches, both in psychoanalysis and in neuroscience (particularly in the tradition of affective neuroscience according to Jaak Panksepp ).
The association also promotes studies and research in a cross-disciplinary dialogue with scientific and humanistic disciplines, on the development of the dialogue between the subjective and objective aspects of human and animal life.

Research lines and methodology
The Center's research focuses on developmental disorders in childhood and
the long-term consequences of these disorders in adulthood.
The heart of the Center is based on a rigorous Bayesian research model , which involves the continuous review of
own clinical practices by monitoring the limitations and errors emerging in the generative understanding model
of the world.
This habitus is fueled by constant dialogue with neuroscience, medicine and the humanities – such as
philosophy, literature, art and music — to progressively refine the therapeutic effectiveness of one's model
internal generative.

Clinical scope and teaching activities
On a clinical level, the Association is dedicated to the assistance and treatment of individuals (from childhood to old age),
of couples, families and groups .
The transmission of skills is a cornerstone of the institution.
The Association also offers supervision services on the neuropsychoanalytic model (in particular on that proposed by Mark Solms ' model) for the growth of psychotherapists and organizes cultural events, seminars and awareness campaigns aimed at spreading neuropsychoanalytic culture in the specialist community and in the local area.
